We have an old-fashioned outlook in that we have a mission to take care of our customers,
and part of our job is to do the job right - the first time.
We prefer to give written estimates.
A $60 diagnosis fee is applied when we have to scan for computer codes.
We do not provide parts - we install your parts.
This allows you to maintain the warranty on your parts and keeps us from dealing with sales tax.
We aren't fancy like some other places. What we are is real.
We understand times are tough. They're tough for us, too.
As an example (let's build an estimate):
We get a call for a brake job on a car (let's say it's a 2012 Honda Accord):
Our brake jobs start at $75 an axle - that's labor. You buy the pads, so you determine what the cost is for that and what the warranty is. You can ask us for recommendations, but ultimately you decide which ones to buy.
Say the calipers also need to be replaced ($25 each) and the rotors must be replaced ($25 each). Again, this is labor cost. You decide how much to pay for the parts.
So for all four wheels - brake pads, calipers, and rotors - you pay the base rate of $75 per axle (x2) which is $150, $25 times four wheels for calipers ($100) and $25 times four wheels for rotors ($100) for a total of $350 in labor for your brake job. This includes a check after 200 miles and a check after 500 miles to make sure everything is working the way it should.
A quick check on RepairPal says the local average labor cost of $275 to $318 is for replacing the PADS ALONE. Oh - and we come to you.
How many shops can say that? I'll wait.
Sorry, we don't work on Mercedes, Hummers, Audi, EV's or Exotics.
We don't do engine swaps or transmission work.
We reserve the right to refuse service on any vehicle.
We are LGBQTIA+ friendly.
